Community Energy England (CEE) Photo Award 2017
We are delighted to have won the Community Energy England Photo Award 2017. This was first year CEE have had a photo award.
They asked for images that captured the essence of community energy. The shortlist was put to a public online vote which took place in the lead up to the ceremony. Photo likes on Facebook and Twitter were combined with a survey. . Over 850 votes were cast!
Our winning picture, Westmill Turbine Hug, which received 26% of the public vote, demonstrates a community coming together to help create a low carbon future for generations to come.

“I think wind turbines are epic” – Our recent Open Day – July 2017
Ten:Ten are campaigning to get onshore wind turbines off the ground again. As part of that, they brought a small film crew to WeSET’s recent open day. Keynote Talk – AGM 2016
Our 2016 AGM was a great success. Please see the video of the keynote talk – by Dirk Vansintjan – a great speech which got a lot of positive feedback from the audience.
